Grow in your faith by getting connected

PVCC offers Community Groups where adults can join a smaller community within our church that meets on a regular basis. These groups offer the chance to meet and build friendships with a focus on spiritual growth. Other opportunities include Men’s and Women’s Studies, and Prayer Meetings.

A safe place for teenagers to encounter Christ

Through the Penns Valley Youth Center, students in grades 6-12 have opportunities to develop friendships and deepen their relationships with the Lord. The After School Program is our way of waging war on teenage boredom. We provide teenagers a fun environment where they can play games, join in physical activity, hang out with their friends and get homework help.

  • KIDS

We want Sundays to be their favorite day of the week

Every Sunday morning, volunteers in our congregation dedicate the majority of the service to our children through our Sunday School program for Preschool through 6th grade. Each summer, we also offer a week-long Vacation Bible School. We believe having fun and learning about Jesus are not mutually exclusive!

On Sunday mornings, our children worship with our families before being dismissed for age-appropriate instruction. On your first Sunday, we encourage you to walk with your children to their class so you can meet their teacher.

We believe that to be a disciple of Jesus Christ is to live a life of service to others. Our church exists to be a blessing to Penns Valley in order to see everyone thrive and flourish as God intended. There are many ways to serve both in the church and in the community here at PVCC. We serve our community through:

  • Penns Valley Youth Center

We provide a place for teens in the valley to experience hope, worth and friendship with our after school program four days a week.

  • Vacation Bible School

Each year in June we invite kids for a four day adventure in learning about Jesus and how to follow him.

  • Sportsman's Dinner

We are a church of avid hunters and fishermen, so we host a free dinner for people to eat amazing food, sharpen their outdoor skills through a knowledgable speaker and hear God's message of hope.

  • Thanksgiving Dinner

The night before Thanksgiving we offer a free dinner for the community. It is a way for us to bless others by offering a delicious traditional Thanksgiving meal.

  • Work Projects on Area Homes

Throughout the year we help individuals and families with basic home repairs or yard work.

  • Christmas Food Boxes

Helping others during the holidays is a simple but meaningful way to let people know they matter to God and to us.
